Analyses of Satellite Networks * Access to the ITU databases * Detailed analysis of the particular satellite network, networks of one operator or entire administration (country). * Assessment of real state of the satellite network and its parameters. ## 2. Selection of suitable Satellite positions Limited number of usable orbital positions:
* Limitation of troubles during coordination * Higher signal quality, more possibilities of utilization of the radio frequencies * Cost-effective coordination process ## 3. Risk Assessment of Harmful Interference * Calculation of interference and assessment of its impact on the quality of received satellite signal * Recommendation of parameters for transmitting and receiving part in order to avoid interference with the existing communication systems * Calculation software based on the current knowledge on signal propagation ## 4. Application for a new Satellite Network * Planned satellite network shall be registered at the ITU * Application contains expected operation parameters * Applications in accordance with the Radio Regulations #### 5. Filling an application for CR/C (Coordination Request) * Mandatory publications prior to coordination * The application should be filled up in a manner which guarantees favourable findings from the ITU * Consultions of possibilities how to fill up the application ## 6.
